Tashan-E-Ishq (International Title: Fire and Ice) is an Indian romantic drama television series created by Subhash Chandra under Essel Vision Productions. It aired on Zee TV from 10 August 2015 to 16 September 2016.[2][3] The show starred Jasmin Bhasin, Zain Imam and Sidhant Gupta.[4]

The story revolves around the lives of Twinkle, Kunj and Yuvraj, and their relationship of love, hatred, betrayal and obsession.

Plot[edit]

The story revolves around the lives of Twinkle Taneja, Yuvraj Luthra and Kunj Sarna. Twinkle and Yuvraj fall in love though their mothers Leela and Anita are rivals. It is revealed that Yuvraj has been faking his love and wants to destroy Twinkle to seek revenge for Anita. However, Twinkle chooses Leela over her love and gets married to Kunj. Yuvraj, who gets obsessed with Twinkle, tries to create problems in Twinkle's married life and even tries to kill Kunj only leading to Twinkle and Kunj getting closer.

Twinkle saves Yuvraj's life on one such instance and Yuvraj has a change of heart and decides to leave Twinkle and Kunj alone. He also saves them from his mother, Anita. Anita is sent to jail but Kunj still doubts Yuvraj's intentions.

Twinkle gets pregnant but Kunj gets into an accident and is declared dead. Unknown to all, Kunj is still alive and has to undergo reconstructive surgery. Twinkle is heartbroken because and her mother-in-law, Usha, decides to remarry her to Yuvraj. Kunj who now has a new face, returns but is shocked to see Yuvraj and Twinkle married. He leaves without meeting his family, believing Twinkle has easily forgotten him and plans to take revenge with his doctor and friend, Pallavi's help.

5 years later[edit]

Twinkle has lost her child but is still married to Yuvraj. She is still in love with Kunj and is unaware of Yuvraj's unconditional love for her. Kunj assumes the name Rocky Singh, and becomes a successful boxer. Twinkle and Yuvi start suspecting that Rocky might be Kunj.

Kunj and Pallavi make a fake MMS of Twinkle seducing him. Twinkle finally confronts him and narrates her sorrows after he was declared dead. She tells him about her miscarriage and why she married Yuvraj and that their marriage is fake. Kunj breaks down and tries to win her trust back. This leaves Twinkle confused about who she should choose.

Twinkle decides to spend some time alone and goes to Mussoorie where she meets Sonia, a carefree girl. Kunj and Yuvi follow her and individually try to win Twinkle's heart. Twinkle, instead, decides to study further and demands some space. While Yuvi keeps a constant eye on Twinkle, Kunj genuinely helps her by secretly helping her get admission into a college. Yuvi disguises himself as Jassi and befriends Twinkle in order to stay close to her. As luck has it, Twinkle and Kunj start getting closer, much to the dismay of Yuvi, Pallavi, and Usha.

Yuvi begins plotting against Kunj and tries to instigate Twinkle against him. Twinkle professes her belief in Kunj, upsetting Yuvi further. After many difficulties, Kunj and Twinkle decide to get married upsetting Pallavi and Yuvi. Pallavi pretends to commit suicide to stop the wedding but is killed by her servants for money. Twinkle and Kunj are blamed for the murder. A girl called Simple (Neha Narang), works with Yuvi to prove Twinkle and Kunj's innocence. Yuvi and Simple fall in love and the show ends happily with the two couples getting married.
